Like many women, I’m obsessed with shoes.

It’s difficult to resist buying the last models when I see them on the store and I have to control myself not to buy another pair, as I don`t have anymore space left in my closet.

I remember my first time in New York. My sister, Quiqui, took me to a Manolo Blahnik store and although I could not afford to buy any pair, I was very excited just  to see all those beautiful shoes.

 As any shoe lover, I got very excited while I was browsing the February issue of Brazilian Elle magazine, I found out about the new exhibition at the FIT Museum. It is called Shoe Obsession and it will be there til April 13, 2013. See here for more information.  The exhibition tells the story of shoes through 150 models, among them pairs of icons like Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin.

Unfortunately, I won`t be in New York on time to see this amazing exhibition, but if you live there, or if you are visiting around this time, you can't afford to miss it.
